Ian Harris – Director, Actor & Co-founder of Shakepod

Plays Richard in Richard III, Trinculo in The Tempest and Benedick in Much Ado About Nothing.

Ian has been a professional actor for the past ten years – appearing in theatres across the UK, including in the West End, as well as in Europe, Singapore and New York. He has performed regularly in productions of Shakespeare’s plays, including The Tempest for the Cherub Company London, A Midsummer Night’s Dream for The Bridewell Theatre Company and for the Ludlow Festival, The Winter’s Tale at the Salisbury Playhouse and Hamlet for the Ludlow Festival. Past audio work includes plays and voice-overs for the BBC and for Resonance FM.
 

Grant Gordon – Sound Designer, Composer & Co-founder of Shakepod
 
Grant loves sound. He produces and presents radio programmes for BBC Radio 2 and Radio 4, records bands, actors and internet audio and chops up soundfiles for anyone with a bountiful chequebook. He has recently returned from Vietnam where he was up a mountain for BBC News with a microphone and 100,000 Buddhists. He also specialises in producing the live streaming output of Reality TV programmes. Formerly a member of the chart band The Divine Comedy, Grant has just completed an album - Wild West - with his new band I, Thalamus, whilst pursuing more esoteric electronica with Staff. www.myspace.com/ithalamus; www.myspace.com/staffwork;  
 

Jo Castleton - Actor

Plays Ariel in The Tempest and Beatrice in Much Ado About Nothing
 
Jo has worked extensively in theatre, voice over, film, and TV. She has worked at many UK theatres including Theatre Royal Stratford East, Haymarket Basingstoke, Chester Gateway, Nottingham Theatre Royal and a number of roles at the Liverpool Playhouse. Touring work includes playing Mae in Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Papagena in The Magic Flute, and Jackie Coryton in Hay Fever. TV and film includes Lauren Andersen in Zygon and Cyberon, Natasha Alexander in Auton2, Sentinel, and Auton3 – Awakening, and roles in Doctors and Duffy for the BBC.
 


Ian Jervis - Actor

Plays Stephano in The Tempest and Leonato in Much Ado About Nothing

Ian is both a professional actor and opera singer. His operatic work includes work for English Touring Opera, Garden Opera, Mid-Wales Opera, Music Theatre Kernow and the Holland Park Festival. On film he has appeared as Colline in La Boheme and as the title role in Falstaff. On stage, roles include Papageno in The Magic Flute, Figaro in The Barber of Seville, and Dulcamara in L’Elisir D’Amore. As an actor he has worked in theatres throughout the UK including the Liverpool Playhouse, Chester Gateway, New Vic Stoke-on-Trent and the BAC.
 

Russell Kennedy - Actor
 
Plays Prospero in The Tempest and Don Pedro in Much Ado About Nothing.

Russell trained at the Arts Educational Drama School. His first role on leaving drama school was Prospero in a UK tour of The Tempest for Cherub Theatre Company. Other Shakespeare work has included The Winter’s Tale for Theatre Alive, Twelfth Night for Bitesize and Macbeth for Drayton Court. Recent theatre work has been dominated by Jane Austen and Charles Dickens. He has played Charles Austen in Tea with Jane Austen, Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, Uriah Heep in The Micawbers, and he performs a one man show An Evening of Charles Dickens Ghost Stories. Russell has also appeared in numerous short films.
 

 
Iain Stuart Robertson – Actor
 
Plays Caliban in The Tempest and The Friar in Much Ado About Nothing.
 
During a twenty-five year career Stuart has performed in theatres the length and breadth of the UK, clocking up over a hundred productions in the process. His numerous Shakespearean roles include a number on film as well as in the theatre and on radio. His film work includes Kent in King Lear, Ross in Macbeth, and for Kenneth Branagh, Hippolyte in Love’s Labour’s Lost and Duke’s Man in As You Like It. You may well have seen him on TV in The Bill (four times!), Bella and the Boys, Casualty, Taggart, The Blind Date, Wing and a Prayer, and Chandler & Co.
 

Richard Pepper – Actor
 
Plays Ferdinand in The Tempest andClaudio in Much Ado About Nothing.
 
Since Richard graduated from Rose Bruford Drama School in 2004, his professional acting work has encompassed theatre, voice over, film and TV. His theatre work includes appearances in the West End in Journey’s End and Oliver!, as well as an appearance at The Globe. His first professional Shakespeare production was playing Lysander in A Midsummer Night’s Dream at the Ludlow Festival. On TV he has appeared in Judge John Deed.
 

Emily Wachter - Actor

Plays Lady Anne in Richard III, Miranda in The Tempest and Hero in Much Ado About Nothing.
 
Emily won the Carleton Hobbs Award and joined the BBC Radio Drama Company on leaving Rose Bruford Drama School in 2004. Since then she has recorded numerous radio plays, in addition to theatre, film and TV work. Her professional Shakespeare productions include playing Helena in A Midsummer Night’s Dream for the Ludlow Festival and Julius Caesar for RSC touring/Lyric Hammersmith. Her TV work includes Judge John Deed, Booze Cruise II and Emily is shortly to be seen in The Changeling on ITV.
 

Antonia Windsor – Actor
 
Plays Queen Elizabeth in Richard III.

Antonia graduated from the Oxford School of Drama in 2005 and her work since has encompassed theatre, film, TV, voice-overs and radio. Her audio work includes playing Lady Windermere in Lady Windermere’s Fan, and a number of other plays for Resonance FM. She has recently played lead roles in a number of short films and has appeared in theatres in London, Cambridge and Edinburgh. Paul Casey – Actor
 
Plays Antonio in Much Ado About Nothing
 
Paul trained at RADA. His theatre work has included The Tempest with the RSC, Hobson's Choice at the Birmingham Rep, Beautiful Thing and The Changeling at the Salisbury Playhouse and productions with the Soho Theatre and the Almeida.
